Just yesterday I was sitting in on the debrief of a team meeting.
Very quickly, the difficulty of sticking to the time allotted to each topic on the meeting agenda came up.
A few minutes of discussion revealed that the durations were often poorly defined — sometimes too long, more often too short.
Working out how much time a discussion needs to reach its objective is a real challenge, and one that deserves proper attention.
Fail to do it, and you risk generating frustration — or even triggering yet another meeting.
